Students of the Bible will find a treasure trove of free study helps from this site curated by the professors at Luther Theological Seminary. Readers can “enter” every book of the Old and New Testaments for summaries, outlines, theological themes and more. There is even a selection of classical art that speaks to some aspect of each book’s message. Essays and brief videos on select topics and passages allow users to explore more deeply. Questions submitted by site visitors are addressed through a weekly podcast entitled “Bible Q & A”. In order to fully access the site, one must establish a personal profile. This allows individuals to take notes and track their reading history. “Enter the Bible” is aimed at a Christian audience and speaks from a Lutheran perspective. It is readily accessible to laity for use in both study and teaching. Preachers will find links to sermon resources.
