Intercultural Ministries, the link to ethnic/racial events, news, personnel, and resources of the Church of the Brethren, is easily accessed through the A-Z site map on their web page. Part of Congregational Life Ministries, the focus of Coordinator Gimbiay Kettering (GKettering@brethren.org) is to facilitate planning for the Intercultural Consultation plus strengthen and develop networks of support for ethnic minority congregations and their leaders. This program area serves to assist denominational staff help the church live out the intercultural vision articulated in the Annual Conference paper, “Separate No More,” which is based on Revelation 7:9, “… great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages.” Users of the web page can scroll news for updates on relevant events and topics. Information is provided on the denomination’s Annual Conference Intercultural Lunch where Rev. Christine A. Smith will address the injustices of sexism and racism.
