The Interfaith Network on Mental Illness is an interfaith nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing "awareness and understanding of mental illness among clergy and members of faith communities by helping them more effectively develop... supportive environments for persons dealing with mental illnesses." Based on the belief that faith/spirituality is a strong component of recovery, they sponsor educational events and workshops, a faith-related support group, and conferences for clergy and faith leaders in and around Boulder, CO. In addition, INMI created {{The Caring Clergy Project | http://inmi.us/for-clergy//}}, which offers a five-part video series on {{Suicide Prevention, Intervention and Response | http://inmi.us/suicide-prevention-intervention-and-response-video-series/}}. The {{Checklist for Faith Communities: Becoming a Welcoming, Inclusive, Supportive, and Engaged (WISE) Congregation for Mental Health | http://inmi.us/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/Checklist4FaithCommunities.pdf}} is the result of a joint project between INMI and the United Church of Christ Mental Health Network. INMI resources are recommended for clergy and congregations interested in creating a strong mental health ministry.
