Journey Conversations

organization

The Journey Conversations project offers a variety of resources and tools for congregations or communities seeking to have better, more productive conversations. Their mission is “…to introduce more persons to contemplative practices for dialogue; to increase their capacity to notice and name what they hold sacred in their lives; and to prepare and equip more persons to facilitate contemplative conversations.” The Journey Conversations books, retreats, workshops and consultations are designed to assist groups, including congregations, to utilize these practices for contemplative conversations. The journey conversations all make space for sacred silence, sacred reading, storytelling, deep listening, contemplative questions, and collective reflection. Founder Diane Millis brings expertise in communication and theology, and she works with a wide variety of organizations as they seek to learn and grow together.
