This interactive curriculum provides everything your clergy and lay-leaders need to create and nurture an urban student leadership team. The curriculum is from LeaderTreks, a publishing and ministry division of Christianity Today. It has sixteen lessons that are divided into two semesters of eight lessons each. The first eight lessons focus on “Who Leaders Are,” and the second eight focus on “What Leaders Do.” Each lesson has several components, such as reflection questions, connecting a student’s story to the topic at hand, and scripture exploration through the use of discussion questions. Adult leaders will find step-by-step guidance on every aspect of the program, including the nuts and bolts of organizing. In addition, there are tools for developing a “high-performance student leadership program”, with essays on best practices. The perspective is Christian, so churches will be the most comfortable with this material.
