Ministry with youth means understanding the cultural realities they navigate every day, according to youth ministry veteran, Walt Mueller. He founded CPYU in order to bridge the “cultural-generational” gap between youth and their parents (and congregations) by providing a window and interpretive framework on contemporary culture. Aimed at parents, teens, and youth workers, CPYU’s offerings provide information to equip adults for guiding youth toward a healthy adulthood. For a monthly fee of $5, congregations can subscribe to the Parent Page newsletter and distribute it freely. The Transition into College Initiative offers resources dedicated to post-high school youth at {{CollegeTransitionInitiative.com. | http://www.collegetransitioninitiative.com/}} Sign up for Walt Mueller’s free blog on all things youth culture, and the “Youth Culture Matters” podcast. Look no further for a page of text definitions! Parents, teens, and anyone who cares about youth will find practical support through the Center for Parent/Youth Understanding.
