Center for Religion and Civic Culture

Los Angeles. (213) 740-8562.

As a research unit of the University of Southern California, the Center for Religion and Civic Culture conducts research and analysis, provides documentation services, facilitates conferences and consultations, and hosts a large web site on public policy issues, faith-based human services and community organizing, and the civic role of religion in Southern California. Its web site links users to articles, databases, and other resources related to community development. While some of these resources are local to the Los Angeles metropolitan area, many of them apply more broadly, dealing with topics such as welfare reform, immigrant assimilation, health care, and funding for religious institutions at a national level.
