Congregational Resource Guide
Finding the right resources for your congregation
Linda Clark has written a study of the role and function of music in congregational life. The study, based on survey data from 24 congregations and interview data from eight New England congregations, provides a grass-roots view of the strengths and weaknesses of various approaches to music. Special attention is given to congregational singing, choral music, and the administration of church music programs. The book's appendices include survey questions which could be adapted for use in many congregations.
