Trenton. (800) 792-9773.

In addition to the state's Work First Program, New Jersey has implemented a survey of the state's clergy and faith-based groups in order to strengthen state and local partnerships and maximize objectives of all groups who are helping those on welfare transition toward self-sufficiency. The information received through the inventory will facilitate transitions for those persons harder to reach. The projected publication date for the survey is January 2000. New Jersey has also sponsored a statewide conference for clergy to update them on the Welfare to Work program.
