Throughout history worship has always bumped up against culture. Sometimes worship is counter-cultural; sometimes it reflects culture; sometimes it transforms cuture. Current discussions about worship must take into consideration the present shift from modernity to post modernity. This book provides a thoughtful context for this workshop.
