Description
This two-course training, offered through UU Institute, provides non-ordained congregational leaders with spiritual care education. The team at UUA Credentialing and Professional Development, Ministries and Faith Development, believes that spiritual care is a shared ministry between ministry and lay leaders.
Created for lay-led congregations, this training emphasizes the importance of "companioning" in the congregational setting and the role of lay leadership in fostering a sustainable and responsive ministry. Note that endorsement from supervisor is required for accreditation.
