This organization will help clergy and lay leaders create a care team in their congregation using a team-based model. The Caring Congregation believes a culture of care is fundamental to a congregation's health and ability to walk alongside its people. They provides instruction on how to create these teams by providing various forms of training and consulting.
The Caring Congregation's website has an extensive variety of free and nominal-fee resources available, and they are searchable by topic. Topics include addiction, mental health, listening, spiritual guidance and boundaries, funeral planning/death/grief, theology and prayer, care and social justice, care for children and youth, pet ministry, reconciling ministry, elder care, and prison ministry.
