Description
The Shepherd’s House, a ministry of Practical Shepherding, exists to provide weary and discouraged pastors and their spouses with a place of rest, renewal, and spiritual encouragement. Through a network of retreat locations across the United States and abroad, the ministry offers pastors a free, two-night retreat designed to help them step away from the pressures of ministry, care for their souls, and reconnect with God. The Shepherd’s House reflects the conviction that healthy churches require healthy pastors and that intentional rest, reflection, and pastoral care are essential components of long-term ministry effectiveness.
