Village Missions

Dallas, OR.

Description

This organization helps rural Christian congregations in the United States and Canada that are struggling to find leadership and survive financially. Village Missions believes that rural congregations are an important part of rural communities and wants to help these congregations thrive. To support a rural congregation, Village Missions focuses on placing a full-time pastor in the congregation and provides the pastor financial and logistical support. Village Missions also organizes the annual Rural Ministry Conference, which speaks to the unique needs of small rural congregations.

To financially support its work with rural congregations, Village Missions organizes fundraisers through events like Country Church Scramble races, the annual National Banquet gathering, and the STEER program for farmers and ranchers.
