The Central Conference of American Rabbis (CCAR) is the oldest and largest rabbinic organization in North America. Its history is rooted in the Reform movement. The CCAR’s Mission is to empower Reform Rabbis to provide religious, spiritual and organizational leadership by enhancing rabbis’ personal and professional lives. “What does empowerment look like?”, you may ask. Offerings include opportunities for Torah study and professional development, as well as placement, pension, mentoring and other practical services. Learning offerings include leadership initiatives, in-person seminars, and even travel opportunities.
