According to Peter Scazzero, pastor and author of Emotionally Healthy Spirituality and The Emotionally Healthy Church, the missing components of most spiritual formation approaches are the integration of emotional health and contemplative spirituality. That is the premise of his books and this Emotionally Healthy Spirituality (EHS) website. Visitors will be introduced to a full menu of EHS resources, including free downloads of the key EHS principles, like “know yourself that you may know God” and “enlarging your soul through grief and loss.” EHS small group curriculum and Scripture reading guides are also available. There are free downloads of sermons and podcasts, as well as articles about keeping the Sabbath, the Daily Office and a Rule of Life. The EHS web resource will equip pastors and individuals from evangelical, independent and some mainline churches with tools to lead their congregations and themselves into a more vibrant and healthy Christian faith.
