Description
This organization can help congregations evaluate their accessibility to disabled people and their families and develop a plan to become more accessible. Ability Tree seeks to alleviate the spiritual isolation disabled people and their families often experience by helping congregations feel more welcoming to the disabled community.
To support this goal, Ability Tree provides consulting and training that can help congregational leadership understand disabled people’s needs and how to adapt their facility and programming. Ability Tree also offers a summer Ability Camp in Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, and Florida that welcomes mission teams and campers.
