Congregational Resource Guide
Finding the right resources for your congregation
The Center for Action and Contemplation (CAC) artfully engages the Christian tradition of contemplative practice and compassionate action. Founded and informed by the writing and teaching of renowned author and Franciscan priest, Fr. Richard Rohr (Falling Upward: Spirituality for the Two Halves of Life), this organization promotes programs, webcasts, online courses and conferences that empower individuals to develop a contemplative life and service to the world. The Living School of Action and Contemplation is a two-year online and on-site course rooted in the Christian mystical tradition and dedicated to helping participants develop a contemplative mind through teaching and practice. Other short-term courses offered online are self-paced and participatory, dialoguing with other participants on a variety of spiritual topics. Live webcasts with Fr. Rohr are also offered through CAC and available for congregational and small group viewing. This organization is respectful of all faith traditions and religions, though rooted in the gospels with Jesus as the central reference point.
