A highly practical resource, this guide was designed for church leaders on the front lines of ministry with and for immigrant communities. Organized around a series of questions gathered by the authors, it speaks directly to issues raised by local churches and denominational leaders. The questions and answers are divided into three sections: biblical and mission related foundations for immigrant ministry, immigration legal issues (confronted by both congregations and immigrants), and issues related to developing immigration legal ministry. Although not intended to be exhaustive, answers are thorough and well documented. Each section is followed by additional resources for further study. The Guide is also useful for congregations contemplating immigration ministry. Although Church Leader's Guide to Immigration addresses some concerns specific to the evangelical church community, congregations from different faith perspectives will also find it useful.
