Evangelical Covenant Church Asian American Fellowship (AAF)

Formed by immigrants from Sweden in 1885 as a voluntarily covenant of churches committed to working together to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ, the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC) has grown to a multiethnic denomination of over 800 congregations. At least thirty of these churches are Asian American and an additional twenty ministries involve Chinese, Korean, and other Southeast Asian immigrant communities. In the ECC voluntary groups of ministries, congregations, and individuals, called Associations, form to advance a specific mission, provide encouragement, and promote fellowship. The Executive Board of the denomination must approve Associations. One Association, the Asian American Fellowship (AAF), connects pastors and leaders of Asian American congregations for training as well as for fellowship.
