Read this book for an accurate view of Latino Protestantism and learn about vibrant congregational life in the United States. Researchers from three different colleges interviewed and observed congregations that are large and small, urban and rural, mainline and evangelical. They discovered congregational life is attracting increasing numbers of Latino Protestants. Of note, Chapter 5 focuses on the centrality of “doing church” among Latino Protestants. The chapter describes patterns of worship, expectations of membership, and the reality that not all Latino Protestants worship in Latino congregations.
