Q Ideas seeks to further conversation about the relationship between faith and culture. It was created to encourage faith and cultural leaders to explore ideas about how the Gospel can be expressed within our societal context. A clear representation of Q Ideas exists on the {{website | http://qideas.org/.}}. Q Ideas was founded in 2007 by Gabe and Rebekah Lyons. Gabe Lyons is the author of The Next Christians and UnChristian. Rebekah has written Freefall to Fly. The organization posts a question of the week on its website. Questions include: “Are we living in a post-racial world?”; “How do you face your biggest fear?” and “How should we engage a broken political system?”. For each question posed, five responses have been curated; available as a resource on the website. Approximately twice per year, Q Ideas hosts gatherings they call Q Commons. The Commons provide a way for people to engage a diverse range of thinkers about key issues of the day, both in person and virtually. The resources available through Q Ideas could be used for small group and adult Sunday School conversation. It can also serve as background information for topical sermons.
