“Countless Americans are answering a spiritual call to confront the enormous challenges of environmental degradation. For many, faith has inspired action.” This feature-length presentation tells the stories of grassroots environmental initiatives led by people of faith from a variety of religious traditions, including Christian, Jewish, Muslim and Buddhist. The video is designed for theatrical and community viewings but its 8 segments can also be viewed one at a time for an engaging study series. Individual segments are enhanced with additional footage. A free study guide and instructions for organizing a public viewing can be downloaded from the website. The site also offers an array of additional resources designed to equip and inform leaders for further action. This video would be of use for outreach, public education and community building with the aim of inspiring action in environmental stewardship.
