The mission of The Fund Raising School is simple: Improving the success of organizations by improving their fund raising success. This entity of the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy focuses its efforts on training fundraising professionals, as well as nonprofit leaders, board members and volunteers in the art and science of philanthropic giving. Certificate Programs are available through The Fund Raising School and include a broad base of topics like Principles and Techniques of Fundraising, Annual Sustainability, and Developing a Major Donor base. One of the core courses is called Faith and Giving and is directly focused on fundraising within the congregation. For any leaders within faith communities who raise, need to raise, should be raising funds to keep their organizations thriving, The Fund Raising School offers one-time courses as well as Certificate Programs that will improve their congregation’s success through equipping them to develop a more effective fundraising approach and strategy.
