Many congregations have sought information about the Design/Build process as an alternative to traditional design and construction methods. The National Association of Church Design Builders (NACDB) is a national organization designed to promote and highlight the advantages of Design/Build and connect congregations with vendors who specialize in this kind of church building construction. The process is explained by addressing six questions: Why Design Build? How the Teams Process Works. How to Pick the Right Builder. What will it Cost? What Will our Building Look Like? What are the Current Trends in Church Building? NACDB serves the church with over 100 member companies. They offer services in construction and design, but also make recommendations on issues like furnishings and technology equipment and installations. They have a group of board certified consultants who work with congregations on their unique missional needs. The website also includes an extensive photo gallery of NACDB company’s work and a list of member companies.
