Worship Enrich: Exploring Old and New Ways of Responding to God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

web resource
Neil Barker. Canterbury Press. Accessed April 19, 2017.

Anglican Church Music Director Neil Barker created this website to explore and discuss the past, present, and future of church worship. The goal is “stimulating creativity and reflection for the development of corporate worship in different church communities.” One unique feature of Worship Enrich is its nod to “Ethnodoxology”; that is, “creating local style worship songs and using local art forms for worship.” Barker has created ethnodoxological music, has an example on the website, and uses links to refer users to others. One article provided, {{"Black Pentecostal Worship” | http://www.worshipenrich.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Black-Pentecostal-Worship-NJBarker.pdf}}, demonstrates Barker’s broad interest in contextual worship. Four Psalms provided include music and lyrics in a free, downloadable format. Lastly, nineteen links to worship resources for various traditions are offered. The diverse resources available on this site make it worthy of exploration by musicians, clergy, and worship leaders from a variety of religious traditions.
